Over eight weeks, you'll explore the relationship between thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, breath, and the nervous system through experiential practices drawn from the Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s evidence-based Mind-Body Skills model.
What if you could listen more closely to what your body is already telling you?
Mind Body Connections is an invitation to slow down and listen.
We spend so much of life thinking, planning, solving, and doing - often from the neck up. Meanwhile, our bodies are constantly communicating with us about stress, emotion, safety, connection, and what we need.

What we'll explore
Using the imagination as a resource for insight, possibility, healing, and connection with our own inner wisdom.
Perhaps most importantly, we'll practice noticing our experience in the presence of others. The small-group process creates an opportunity to learn not only from the practices themselves, but from our own experience and the experiences of others.
Bringing awareness into the body through gentle, accessible movement that can help release stress, restore energy, and reconnect us with physical experience.
Autogenic Training & Biofeedback
Breathwork
Meditation & Mindfulness
Using intentional breathing to influence our physiological state, settle the nervous system, and create a greater sense of presence.
Learning to notice and influence aspects of our physiological experience, developing greater awareness of the body's stress response and pathways toward relaxation.
Practices for developing relaxed, moment-to-moment awareness—including noticing thoughts, emotions, sensations, and patterns without needing to immediately change them.
self expression
Using simple creative practices—including drawing, writing, and other forms of expression—to explore experiences that may be difficult to access through words alone.

The Mind-Body Skills model developed by the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) brings together a range of practices that support self-awareness, stress regulation, resilience, and connection. CMBM's small-group approach is intentionally experiential: participants learn by practicing the skills, reflecting on their experience, and integrating what they discover into their lives.
Slow down and turn your attention inward
Notice patterns in your thoughts, emotions, body, and nervous system
Experiment with different mind-body practices
Discover which tools are most supportive for you
Reflect on your experiences and what you're learning
Connect with others in a thoughtful, supportive environment
Integrate practices into the rhythms and realities of everyday life
The power of a small group
You'll have space to:
There's something different that happens when we learn and practice together.
This isn't a drop-in class. We'll meet as a consistent group for eight weeks, giving us the opportunity to build trust, become familiar with one another, and allow the practices to unfold over time.
What you will discover
With greater awareness comes greater choice. As you become more familiar with your body's signals and your nervous system's patterns, you may find new ways to pause, regulate, reconnect, and respond with greater intention. This is an educational and experiential mind-body skills group and is not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
Eight weeks. More listening. Increased awareness. A deeper connection with yourself.

Mind Body Connections
Because the power of the group develops through continuity and connection, participants are asked to commit to the full eight-week series.
This isn't a drop-in experience. It's a journey we take together.
Come curious. Come as you are. Bring your whole self.
And give yourself eight weeks to slow down, listen more closely, and discover what becomes possible when you begin to work with your mind and body rather than simply asking them to keep up.
